2-Day Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari

Boat cruise on Lake Mburo · Night game drive · Guided nature walk

Trip overview

This 2-day untamed wildlife safari takes you to Uganda's smallest savanna national park. Lake Mburo National Park is located in southwestern Uganda, between Masaka and Mbarara — a 4-hour drive from Kampala and one of the easiest national parks to access. The park is made of acacia woodlands, extensive wetlands, rolling hills and rocky outcrops, and is known for a high population of zebras and other animals like buffalo, bushbuck, leopards, hippos and impala, as well as different bird species. Lake Mburo is one of the national parks where wildlife and cattle graze together. On this trip, you will have a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to look out for hippos, water birds and crocodiles, and at night a game drive to look out for different animals. The safari cost includes your transfers from Kampala and back, driver guide services, park entrance fees, activities, meals and accommodation.
