One of our experienced driver guides will pick you from your hotel or residence in Kigali to begin your safari with a city tour in the cleanest city, Kigali. The Kigali city tour features the Genocide Memorials, Hotel Mille Collines and the local markets in Kigali. Later, you will drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
In the morning, you will have breakfast and thereafter transfer to visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. You will have a boat cruise to view different islands and other unique geographic formation features, as well as connecting with the local communities. You will then transfer to Bwindi through rolling hills and scenic views of the pearl. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
On this day, you will be picked up and transferred to the briefing point for the briefing exercise on how to behave and interact with the gorillas in the wild. After the briefing, you will be led into the forest to start your unforgettable gorilla hike in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The gorilla trekking experience from start to finish is amazing. You will spend an hour with the mountain gorillas before walking back to the starting point to meet your driver guide. You will then connect to Volcanoes National Park. Dinner and overnight.
Enjoy breakfast in the morning, then transfer to the briefing point at the Kinigi park office in preparation for the golden monkey trek. You will then be led for the trek. After the golden monkey trekking experience, you will be driven to the Guardian Village community at Iby'iwacu for a thrilling cultural experience through the use of bows and arrows, dressing code, poems and dances in which you can be actively involved. In the evening, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Have breakfast in the morning, then transfer to Kigali, which marks the end of your safari.
